About This Product

Dispersion is the ability of the atmosphere to dilute and disperse a compound such as animal odor as it travels downwind. The Dispersion Conditions Advisor displays near-surface dispersion conditions. The six categories of dispersion conditions which are calculated include: Very Poor (1), Poor (2), Moderately Poor (3), Moderately Good (4), Good (5), and Excellent (6).

The Drift Risk Advisor forecast is based on the NOAA National Blend of Models (NBM). The NBM is updated four times daily (around 3 AM, 9 AM, 3 PM, and 9 PM CST).
