Citizen Science Programs

  • GLOBE - The Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment Program offers a wide range of educational materials, including learning activities, lesson plans, science protocols, global and regional measurement campaigns, and other materials to help teachers advance Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in their classrooms.
  • CoCoRaHS - CoCoRaHS is an acronym for the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network.  CoCoRaHS is a unique, non-profit, community-based network of volunteers of all ages and backgrounds working together to measure and map precipitation (rain, hail and snow).
